An apprenticeship opportunity that matches students with community organizations in need of architecture-related services. Students do hands-on work serving community needs and pursue their learning experiences with faculty in an independent-study format.
499 Independent Study (1-3 cr)
Designed to add depth and breadth to a student's formal degree program, students may opt to pursue independent work in special areas under the guidance of an instructor. Students electing this course must be accepted for work on a specific topic by a member of the architectural faculty, and must have the approval of the department chair.
