DMG Media Services
The DMG aspires to have the very best in printing, plotting and digital devices to meet the growing demand for printing and digital media. Students can use a wide variety of equipment including:
- One 60" Hewlett Packard 5000PS high-resolution color plotter providing very large format custom plotting support.
- Two 36" Hewlett Packard 1055CM high-resolution color plotters with multi-roll media options providing mid-high plotting support.
- Two 42” Hewlett Packard 4000PS high-speed, high-resolution color plotters providing low cost plotting options.
- One Hewlett Packard 800PS high resolution plotter providing high end, cut sheet plotting support.
- Two Hewlett Packard 5500DTN color laser printers with duplexing support on letter and tabloid media options.
- One Hewlett Packard 5500DTN color laser printer exclusively for portfolio production with duplexing support on high-quality letter, soft-gloss cover stock, letter Ultra-gloss cover stock, and ledger 80 lb. cover stock.
- Two Nikon CoolScan slide scanners.
- Two Kodak 3+ mega pixel cameras.
- Two Hewlett Packard 9000PS 50ppm high speed black/white laser printer with duplexing support on letter, legal and tabloid media.
- Through its various plotters, the DMG provides access to 7 different types of plotting media, including coated bond, tracing bond, vellum, heavy weight coated bond, satin gloss, mylar and transparency film. High end media is provided for our color laser printers, including bright white laser media and satin gloss media.
- The School subsidizes printing services for students in the School so that the cost can stay lower than outside sources for the same services.
