General Facilities Overview
The School of Architecture and Planning is housed in Hayes Hall, Crosby Hall, and Parker Hall on the South Campus of the University at Buffalo.
Hayes Hall
Hayes Hall was built circa 1865 and was acquired by the University of Buffalo in 1909. It houses classrooms, the school's administrative offices, the Dyett Gallery, the Architecture and Planning Library, and the Visual Resources Center.
Crosby Hall
Designed by E. B. Green and Son, Crosby Hall originally housed the School of Business Administration (School of Management) before it became the studio spaces for the School of Architecture and Planning.
Parker Hall
Parker Hall was designed to house the School of Engineering. The huge growth in this discipline led to additions to the building in 1947 and 1948. Parker Hall currently houses a wide variety of teaching and research facilities in addition to being the home of the Materials and Methods Shop and architecture studio space.
