Chair's Award
Awarded to graduating first-professional-degree candidates chosen from each of our master's programs for consistent, high-caliber design work performed in the design studios.
Henry Adams Medal
The American Institute of Architects awards an engraved medal and certificate of merit to the top-ranking graduating student in each architecture program accredited by the National Architecture Accreditation Board. A certificate of merit is awarded to the second-ranking student.
R. Buckminster Fuller Award
The Friends of the School of Architecture and Planning present this award to a graduating bachelor of science in architecture student accepted into our M.Arch. program. The recipient must be returning to receive this award. The student must show innovation and inventiveness in design.
Design Excellence Award
Awarded to students with outstanding studio work. Academic Achievement Award
Awarded to students with the highest overall GPA. ARCC/King Student Medal for Excellence in Architectural + Environmental Design Research
This award is given to one student based on criteria that acknowledge innovation, integrity, and scholarship in architecture or environmental research.
Alpha Ro Chi Medal
Alpha Ro Chi is a national professional fraternity. Each year it awards a medal to a first-professional-degree candidate in each accredited school of architecture in the country. The medal is awarded for leadership, service, and merit and is meant to promote professional qualities in students.
