Ramps and Lifts

The manual illustrates how to build the modular wooden ramp design developed by the RAMP Project at the Minnesota Metropolitan Center for Independent Living. The ramp is designed to be built by semi skilled volunteers from standard materials and can be disassembled to move with the owner. It is also designed to be supported by above ground pads that require no digging for foundations, making it easier to construct. The manual includes many good design ideas and guidelines, and comes with an explanatory video.
