This section offers a wide range of disseminating information and products. Over the past few years, we have been working closely with you, our stakeholders, to improve the methods we use to deliver information to you. Some users like to use only web-based information, while others prefer PDF or raw-text files, while still others prefer source document (such as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Word documents), while still others prefer "good old fashioned paper versions".

Unlimited By Design Online

The Unlimited By Design Traveling Exhibit is a project of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Research Center on Universal Design at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. The work of the RERC on Universal Design is supported through funding from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, United States Department of Education.

Universal Design Education

This site supports educators and students in their teaching and study of universal design. Universal design is an approach to the design of all products and environments to be as usable as possible by as many people as possible regardless of age, ability, or situation.

Universal Design New York 1

This book was developed to help the community of people who develop the City's real estate and infrastructure learn about universal design. When implemented properly it removes many of the problems associated with trying to meet requirements of both the NYC building code and the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act.

Universal Design New York 2

New York City remains committed to furthering universal design and to encouraging architects to integrate universal design concepts into their work. To make it easier for architects to access the universal design concepts that were defined in New York City's 2001 book "Universal Design New York", this handy desktop reference manual has been developed. This desktop manual concisely presents the most common universal design principles from Universal Design New York and offers simple, straightforward examples of how to incorporate those principles into real projects.
