Instructional Computing Labs
Our main lab and primary instructional environment is comprised of 36 Pentium IV-based workstations running Windows XP. All systems include 2.4 GHz processors, 1.5 GB of memory, CD-RW drives, DVD-ROM drives, full stereo sound, and 19-inch color monitors.
Our secondary instructional environment is comprised of 24 Pentium IV-based workstations running Windows XP. All systems include 3.4 GHz processors, 2 GB of memory, DVD+/-RW drives, OpenGL graphics cards, full stereo sound, and 19-inch color monitors.
Studio Computing
Located throughout Hayes and Crosby Halls, our studio computing facilities typically maintain a 1 computer for every 4 students for junior, senior and graduates studios in both the Architecture and Planning programs. Computers in a ratio of one computer for every seven students are provided in architecture sophomore studios. The computers are a range of Pentium-4 based systems running Windows XP. All systems include 2.0 - 3.4 GHz processors, 1 -2 GB of memory, CD-RW or DVD+/-RW drives, OpenGL graphics cards, full stereo sound, and 19-inch color monitors.
Educational Technology Equipped Classrooms
All CRL classrooms are equipment with dedicated computing and media equipment. The main instructional classroom, which seats 60, is e quipped with a state of the art multimedia system, including touch-screen controlled environment, high resolution digital projector, computer, sound system, wolf visualization, VCR and DVD support. Our other classrooms provide high resolution digital projection, computer, vcr/dvd support and sound system.
